No audio input in cubase

.Dear Sirs: I have a Soundblaster Live 1024 and I want to use it together with my Cubase VST32. The kX-driver is working perfectly when using MIDI (VST-instruments), reducing the latency greatly, but in the audio-input situation there is no connection thru, no signal. It’s very strange because I have no problem in the Wavelab program. I hope you can help me. Else I thank you for a great contribution to mankind.

I think we should have a FAQ that stays on top of the messages - or even a FAQ main topic with locked FAQs.

But most of things are already answered on kX site or in Help or FAQ.

Yep, i think this will be the hotest topic anyway (for ever) even if faq is located on the first pages of everyday newspapers... So such thread might be on top of other... Hmm. should it be universal "I can't record Line/Mic In" or separete "I can't record Line/Mic In"(MME only) + "I can't record anything with ASIO"(incl. problems with Live 5.1) ?

btw. forum is open only for a week, but there're ~5 such threads already
