48khz...am I missing something?

the kX drivers are mainly for musicians, and using kX ASIO in cubase locks the sblive! to 48khz sample rate... but most (i guess) hardware synths, are locked to 44.1khz. so how does that work?! vst instruments will be out of tune with the external hardware will they not?

Every VSTi I have seen (except one) supports 48kHz, and I have seen many! (I think that they aquire the active sample rate automatically through the VST format)
hope this helps

Edit: further to what I just said, the output of the VSTi's is by default calibrated to concert pitch, so they will be intune with the outside world, (btw;extra tuning parameters are always available in the VSTi's).
