Sound Quality of Headphones Output?

Hello!

I have a SB Live Platinum and I have connected my HIFI with the LiveDrives Headphones Output...Now I wonder is it any difference in sound quality between the Front/Rear Output on the soundcard and the headphones Output on the LiveDrive???...

Which output gives the best sound quality?

headphones output is not bad. BUT it is never meant to be used as "line-out" - so you can get big spectral (and other) distortions driving your hifi with ouput expecting headphones as destination. (e.g. result cannot be better then with rear and even front).
