Propellerhead ReBirth is now freeware
Check out www.rebirthmuseum.com for download info
you have to sign up to download, but it takes a couple of minutes I'm going to get this when i get home, should be quite fun to play with for those that don't know what it does it holds two 303 synths (classic acid sound) and an 808 and 909 drumsynths (classic dance sounds), along with a couple of distortion and compression effects

yes, it "seems" to be fully integrated through ReWire...
but as I remember - ReBirth could not use ASIO (first) and (second) its output is limited to 44,1KHz, which can produce very strange results if host apps' otput is set to higher sample rates. |

it is limited to 44.1, so realtime external recording AND rebirth is impossible

so if you want to use it with Cubase - then must set Cubase to 44,1KHz too, otherwise you will notice very annoying pitch differences between two apps
