Any news of 3538J?

Hello,
interested to hear if there are any news about version 3538j with functional Midi drums on channel 10 and of course still interested in 24 bit 48 kHz (or 96 kHz) ASIO recording.

Kind regards,
Sture

Eugene is working on it. Keep in mind that soon can be days or months. I'm sure Eugene is doing the best he can with his ressources.

We should be realistic, I think it will take about as long as the 3538i version did. That would be some months then.

Me too

Since I need MIDI Channel 10 I brutally overwrited kx.sys with version 3538h in system32 directory. Everything seem to work ok, but I wait for next release.

Go Eugene, Go!

Thanks all for the information!

I hope we can see the 3538J version soon and hopefully before Christmas.

There are so many good things about the kX Drivers compared to CL and I do not want to switch back after using kX from the very beginning. At that time with SB Live and lately with Audigy 2. I still really miss being able to record in 24 bit (48 or 96kHz). This would give my vocal and acoustic guitar recordings a true boost in clarity and less noise.

Kind regards,

Sture

... man, for vocals & guitar somthing like ESI Juli@ is more suitable ...

kX is for cost effective (realtime) soft-synths-samplers & etc ... for e.music ... I think

Well, I do not think I want to buy another card again. I have waited for so long time to get the 24-bit ASIO recording to work, so I will probably wait for some more time. Perhaps I have to revert back to 3537 or install 3538h that is supposed to have midi channel 10 working.

Perhaps Eugene is saving 3538J as a Xmas gift for all of us who are patient? lol
