EEK! Please Help (Deadline), with SYNC , SONAR Dxi Inst Delay

Hi To All

I´m totally new to KX drivers , and switched to them a Couple of days ago.
Some people did request some changes to a project I´m working in Sonar v4.0

With the new KX drivers, The Dxi Instrument Tracks (Edirol SuperQuartet and Orchestral) plays delayed from the KXSynth and External MIDI Tracks.

Any Suggestion or shortcut to make it sound right, before I return to Crative Drivers???

Any Way, Tons of Thanks to Eugene Gavrilov for this beautiful and power Non-Factory Drivers.

Sergio

Make sure you setup sonar to use KX ASIO driver.

Then in the KX ASIO control panel - lower the latency settings until pops and cracks start - the bump it up a notch - to get it back to lowest latency settings BUT NOT cracks and pops.

If that doesnt help - post what soundcard/KX version your using and the results of what happened when trying the above.

In sonar 4 - I had a little problem understanding how to rout asio (which is done in the KX DSP) - Ill assume your using a ProFX set up in the dsp as opposed to the default, as the ProFX setup allows for much more flexibility in sonar.

There used to be some guides for setting up Profex - even if it says for cubase, the info on the KX DSP is similar.

Sonar and KX (v 3538h) / A2ZS Plat works very well for me. (DX(i)/VST(i), Midi & Audio).
But I did have to change my past projects audio files from 44Khz to 48Khz, which was a bit tedious, but easy to do.

ThankYou very Much for Your Help, Maddog

I´ll give a Try.

I´m using v 3538i, but I as I´ve read, will swicth to "h" or 3537 because of the Drums Issue.

System Specs

It's a good idea to use 3538h instead of 3538i because Ive found that SONAR MIDI and audio sync works better using the MIDI metronome. The audio metronome messes up MIDI audio sync, and you cant use the MIDI metronome because of the missing MIDI drums in 3538i. You could try using the MS synth as an alternative.

Glad to help.

When I read what was new for 3538h - as I recall - improved A2ZS support (over what I read for 3537, never seen what was addressed in 3538C/G), which was addressing me/my card . So the version best to use *may* depend on the card you have.

I have an old, dusty, plain SB live! (no 5.1) , and was funny to produce part of a FilmScore with it, and listen the final work in Dolby THX theaters!.

Theese drivers seem to be Quite professional compared to the originals.

I Admit I have many pages to read and research, but I must finish this little Job quickly.

Thanks Maddog and Thomas for Your Help!!
