AC97 source resets
Everytime i reboot my machine, the AC97 source is reset to StereoMix, and i have to set it to Mic manually when i want to use the mic. Is there any way to save this value, or set it by commandline?

After you have it set up the way you want it, open the DSP window click the SAVE SETTINGS icon and save it as kxdefault.kx. Reboot the computer to see if that works.

Did you disable kX Mixer from loading at startup?
The startup command used by kX when it starts with Windows, restores previous settings. If you disabled this, then it does not automatically restore previous settings. If this is the case, then your best bet is to re-enable this. The startup command is "kxmixer --startup" If you would like kX Mixer to only restore settings and then exit, then change the above line to "kxmixer --startup --once". Optionally, you could start kx mixer manually using the above command line parameters (if you really do not want it to load with Windows). |
