Yes, but saying "5.1" is a bit confusing. It is stereo or AC3.
However, the orange jack on the rear of the card can do (uncompressed) 5.1 when connected to compatible digital speaker systems, etc.

This trick can be deactivated simply unflagged features in the master mix or otherwise takes some change on normal stereo sound?
