cubase sx "RECORDING" settings

To anybody who can help:

- How do i configure "CUBASE SX FOR RECORDING" w/ kx driver?

(i already set the asio-kx driver...but.)

- Do i have to click "leave asio in back ground" option? is that the problem?

- Must i activate the vst system link??

- What is the solution?

I unfortunatley hav no experience with these setting since i used
those crappy creative drivers(which didn't require settings)....
till yesterday.
