Wish list for next release.

Hi,

KX project is excellent , but there still some feature I would like to see inside if possible.

- MIDIYOKE: Will be great to include a similair function inside KX-Project. Since MidiYoke getting obsolete.

- Host-VST & VSTI inside KXproject. I use presently "STANDALONE" From energyxt but will be awsome to have all inside KXProject.

Thanks,

Eric

Well, I guess Id be happy just having all the bugs ironed out...

But..
Does this exist (other than I think Xrouting) that can translate system keyboard volume keys as a simple VOL control in KX DSP?

I imagine one that ban be safely added to the DSP as many times as desired to control as many volume levels at the same time.

Is this difficult to accomplish?

IR support! I really look forward to the day I can use my IR remote for Cubase transport controls!

After fixing all soundfont related problems and adding true sf2.1 support kX will be perfect for me.

"Build-in" MIDIYoke is also a great idea.

Hmm...

ADDING a MIDI router with virtual ports would be nice for DSP based synths.

Id like to see more comprehesive ability to fine tune how MIDI is implemented.
(velocity offsets & curves per midi channel, microtonal tuning per midi channel,
Even if its editing an .INI file. Instead of it hard coded in the driver. Same with IR keymaps.

Also... Id like to see polyphony reserving/limiting per midi channel - again - in an ini file is fine too.

Itd be real cool to be able to record all the KX automated controls from the KX mixer applets them selves. for say... automating KX mixer moverments and settings & have ability to set all KX plugins/effects parameters with a midi file.)

Then Id need something.... to do something about all this wood Im sport'n here just thinking of this stuff...

Anyway of making a DSP plugin that servers ONLY as a means to quickly adjust any midi port/channel (adjustable) CC/RPN/NRPN with knobs / faders and switches?? Can something be added to the KX DSP api that gives this connectivity ??? It would make auditioning / tweaking simple (oh, ability to save tweaks to SF registers instead of CC/RPN/NRPN... right to the SF file would be sweet too) - and no host needed to 'perform' with KX synths.

How about ability to group controllers for use in KX Control/KX Automation - so I could say - use 1 CC to contol 8 midi channels at once. OR - lower volume (CC7) as SEND E (CC16) increases. I guess thats where its starts integrating midi yoke...

Too bad also... SF spec doesnt allow for sample manipulation... BUT... KX *could* add this ability, and changes (loop start offset, loop mode - repeat or reverse) etc) all interfaced through a KX automation parameter... ??

This sort of additions to KX midi is what I dream of...

I wish kX would offer better support for remote control. The one that came with my Audigy 2 ZS Platinum works, but the buttons send hardcoded functions (winamp play, stop, volup, next, etc), and the number keys send keyboard presses.
An option to choose each button's action (run an .exe for example) would be cool, since then i could Litestep handle the keys and make them do anything I can think of.

Better commandline support would be nice too - to open up the DSP window without having to click yourself there, to show or hide plugins.
