kx acpi support
I just installed the drives, noticed the sound quality, and then found out that it disables the hibernate / standby function, which i need to work, so that im able to record tv shows while im at uni and what not, thru XP Media Center 2005
so really, my question is, is there any functions or stuff that i can remove, disable thru kx to get acpi to work again? or jus create a driver set thats solely for high quality music play back? coz thats all im after, none of the recording stuff... neways waiting for a reply and thanx Manish |

Right, i have come across a problem when using this driver with Windows Media Center 2005.
Once the drivers are installed, and rebooted, the sound works fine. However, after the system "hibernates" (suspend to ram, S3 state) after recording a program, the sound is fine in all applications, ie, winamp dvd players etc, expect Media Centers LiveTV section, where there is audio once the file has been recorded, but watching a live stream, there is no sound or activity on the levels. Any idea why this is? will link this topic in the bugs section ![]() thanks for listening |
