USSB interface

I have installed kX driver and set everything the way I think it should be, according to the help website, but my computer and M-Audio MobilePre are no longer on speaker terms. I hear sound in the monitors, channel is hot, but no signal. Have I got something wrong, or does the driver not work with my goofy interface?

Swap front and rear is on by default in the mixer.

KX is for 10KX sound cards -
1) AFAIK - no USB based support with KX
2) M-Audio is something completely different and Im pretty sure it doesnt have a 10Kx DSP.

How did this KX driver install without a 10KX based card??

SO - now Im wondering if your trying to use BOTH together -
and again, they are completely seperate - you would NOT be able to route the 'USB incomming sound' INTO KX DSP. It doesnt work that way.

If you need a mic-preamp - you'll need one that has analog or SPDIF output to work with KX driver / 10KX based sound card.

Ill assume the M-Audio came with an ASIO driver - be aware that most DAW host SW (IIRC - Cubase, Logic, Sonar) only allow 1 ASIO driver in use at 1 time.

SO - either record with MIC PREAMP with M-AUDIOs ASIO driver enabled - then to record KX Stuff (KX Synths, KX DSP effects etc.) - switch over to the KX ASIO driver in your DAW host SW.
OR - get a NON PC dependant Mic Pre-Amp.

the kX package will install with out compatible cards, but the drivers won't
