APS1.6 drivers & multi-outs
This is a question to EMUAPS users and specialists.
Do you know how to enable multi-outs 5/6 and 7/8 with APS1.6 drivers. I guess some pins in MOC connector may contain information that MOC card is installed but which one? I can't find any MOC connector specification. PITmaster Last edited by PITmaster; Dec 22, 2005 at 02:05 PM. |

Im not APS specialist - but maybe (like Audigy does) senses when something is connected to it. ?? Cant remeber if Lives did this (which is quite similar to APS hardware)
But I guess Im suggesting a 'sense' pin *may* not be needed or implemented... I did look too for MOC connector info with out luck. |

Hello PITmaster, you need either a hardware mod or have the emu drivers patched to get the moc. There was some old patched emu driver before that did this and other tricks for the live cards, so not impossible...
there's info on some hardware mod here. It's for a live card but the 10k pins should be the same... well i wouldn't risk my aps, hope you don't either I think it's not all that usefull when you think that kx sounds measurably and audibly better and does not complain about the absent moc. Anyway with the aps you already have 2x2 digital outs, one of wich you'd loose using one of the six outs of the moc (A3/A4 out i think). Good luck! |
