Need Help using Skins
Hi. I've downloaded a skin, but all I get when I unzip it are .ini and .bmp files.
Where do I find the .kxs file that is needed? A quick tutorial on using (not creating) skins would be much appreciated. Thanks, Mick Berg. |

Okay, thanks. It would be good if that were mentioned somewhere. Can it also be a zip file renamed? The skin was downloaded as a zip file.
Thanks, Mick Berg. |

Well, that was easy. Seems that all you need to do is, put the archive file for the skin in your KX folder, then change the extension, whether it be a .rar or a .zip, to .kxs. Then register the new skin (in the right click menu on the KX mixer). The mixer will disappear (close) and then when you re-open it it will have the new skin.
