Distorted sound from rear output in Audigy2

Hi
When i connect headphones to rear output (swap front<-->rear is checked) in my Audigy2 (sb0244) i hear distorted sound (exactly base drum). When i connect to front output (swap front<-->rear is unmarked) sound is not distorted.....WHY?? Is my card damaged?
Can someone help me?
