sfms32.dll overwrite
I am in the process of installing the KX driver (stable) on to my pc. My soundcard is an Audigy 2 running XP Pro. All patches are installed on XP Pro.
I am getting this warning when I try to install the driver. Source: c:\program files\kx project\3537\sfms32.dll Target: C:\WINDOWS\system32\sfms32.dll The target file exists and is newer than the source. Overwrite the newer file? Should I click yes or no on this

I have it (it says it is SoundFont(R) Manager) but I do not know if it is used by kX or not (the one I have is a Creative file, and not a Eugene Gavrilov one, but I am not using 3537). I would guess it is used by kX 3537 if it is in the kX directory.
In any case, say yes, to overwrite it. Last edited by Russ; Jan 22, 2006 at 03:27 PM. |

okay - I installed it and all seems to be good. There is quite a difference in sound output with these drivers
Now to read up on digital output settings
