I installed kX driver - kxdrv3538i-full.exe. I have Sound Blaster Live 5.1 (SB0060). When I installed kX driver, in control panel > sound and audio devices > device book-mark 'audio' I have a default device in 'playback sound' call kX Wave SB0060 5.1 [9000] 0/1 (4/5, 6/7 i 8/9). I chose "kX Wave SB0060 5.1 [9000] 0/1" It's ok, but I have 4 speakers and one subwoofer
(this http://www.dansdata.com/images/speak...fps1600440.jpg ,but imperceptibly differnet subwoofer). kX Mixer recognized my speakers as 5.1 speakers, but I have 4.1... and I can't control power of my subwoofer :/ What I have to make? Help... Sorry for my english, but it is't very well. |

Ok - I assume that your 4.1 speakers used multiple connectors to the sound card
1) the WINDOWS default Audio device should be set to 'KX WAVE 0/1' - like you had. 2) Windows SPEAKERS should be set to 5.1 - so WINDOWS will allow KX to set speakers settings 3) KX DSP - Surrounder - should be set to '4.1' - this is NOW the setting for howmany speakers you have connected to your computer. 4) CHECK - USE SUBWOOFER OUTPUT - use this IF a connector is plugged into the C/LFE connector on the sound card. Play around with settings in here for best sound (Surround mode on/off/copy) - get to know how it works/what it affects. |

re ad.3 - how do you know this - give example of what you see/hear. re ad.4 - You must have only been boosting LOW FREQ in CL - if the SW is NOT a seperate connection - its the only possibility. So like DJStick mentioned - you can add the 10 band EQ to adjust just low frequency. |

Also, make sure that the "Use Subwoofer Output" checkbox in Surrounder is not checked (i.e. a 4.0 preset). To adjust the BASS under the default DSP, you can use the timbre plugin, or (with a custom setup) use one of EQ plugins as dj_stick suggested.

I'm pretty sure the default DSP has either the timbre plugin or the 10band EQ, so open hte DSP and it will be in the top right, just to the left of the epilog
