sx wont see my inputs
hi people... ireally hope someone can help me....i have an sb live card, and im running cubase sx3..im not a beginner as i have other systems running emu soundcards...my problem is im trying to record my dj equipment into the line in on my sb live computer, through kx and into cubase sx3...i no how to set up in sx3, the problem is no matter what i do, sx will not show me that i have any inputs from the kx drivers...the outputs work...the inputs dont show up at all and when i try to create inputs its just says pending...ive also tried recording through mackie tracktion, but again kx will not show me any inputs...only outputs...i know the problem is with the kx cos when i use the intel on board drivers i get one input pair....can anyone please help me and explain simply what i have to do...i tried to go into the kx dsp thingy and patch stuff with prologue etc...but no luck yet

So to clarify:
You ran CUBASE's 'ASIO DIRECTX FULL DUPLEX SETUP' applet from the start menu: Selected ALL KX as the Active driver (I have an adobe audition thats first on the list and thus is the one it many apps will defaults to almost all the time) Note: I ONLY have ALL KX named entries checked here. ONLY 1 DEVICE - with multiple ports. I could enable my onboard sound device here too, but I dont. Maybe its a significant difference. Then ran the Cubase MULTIMEDIA SETUP: Again, I ONLY have ALL KX named entries checked here as well. Run the simulations - and passes. Then in cubase - devices - VST CONNECTIONS - added the KX ins and out - and only shows pending? Im not understanding where it would show this message here. |

make sure your sample rate is 48khz NOT 44.1, and you should be right
