Traktor3 - kx - Audigy2 zs - newbee need help

hello,

i need help for confuguration dsp. kx is installed and i have sound only on the mainout. can someone make an simply dsp setup for traktor. only 2 players to two outputs and - or one player and headphones. if this configuration run i have enough time to test other funktions and effects of kx.

call it: traktor3 - kx - audigy2 zs for dummies

set the main output to kX wave 4/5
set the monitor output to kX wave 6/7

hi dj_stick,

very speedy - but it doesnt work. all three outs are dead and the main sound is distroit with this config.

set windows sound control panel to 7.1
set the kX surrounder to 5.1 or 7.1

that should work

in traktor is possible: kx out 00-015

kx wave is not listed

i have reinstalled the creative driver to check the card. card is ready and works fine. now i will uninstall creative and start kx new.

creative driver uninstalled
driver cleaner pro
regclean
install kx
i set kx surrounder to 5.1 direct path
and in traktor
i set the main output to kX out 4/5
i set the monitor output to kX out 6/7

same situation: destroited sound on mainout + no sound on the other three

i am using KXASIO

Monitor is KXout 2/3
Main is KXout 0/1

custom setup with MX6 mixer. basicly its
FXBus from 0 - 9 is routed to MX6 mixer then to KXLT out as front/rear(headphones) speakers.
Chn2 in MX6 mixer is not routed to Main output.

In DSP: routing from FXBus to MX6 mixer - no problem, but where is KXLT out?

not in the popup-menue?

it´s possible to send me a screenshot?

etze use the standard dsp setup, set front out to 4/5, and monitors to 6/7

(0/1 out is the summation output, 2/3 is soundfont, while 4-9(11?) are the physical outputs

hi dj_stick,

that was the first i made. same result.
if i use only 0/1 for front out and no others, i have exellent sound on the mainout. every change brings the same result. mainout is destroit, thats all. i have never a sound on the other three.

reinitialize the dsp (right-click empty space and select reinitialize)
and see if that helps with the settings i mentioned (you're using ASIO right?)

when i used to play around in traktor that's how it would work for me

the card is brand new - sb 0530 - creative change something???

press Add Effects / Plugins -> ProFX -> KXLT
after adding it - double click on it.

mine outputs are analog front + rear out

i start to exact copying your dsp. src is right but line-in, asio 2/3 and asio 0/1 are not available.
where is my mistake?!

@imperia: MX6 is not updated 2 3538j - check your setup-Links...

@etze: how in hell did you manage to get the MX6 2 work in 3538j ???
Only this newest Version supports the ZS Notebook!!!???

And are you a registered Traktor User like me? Is it worth to update to V3?

if you read the full thread, you see that dj_stick posted the normaly config but it doesnt run. imperia say he has exactly the same card as me (sb 0530) and his config works. what we do is to find a way.

v3!
the question is what you need? if you have an older version (i have v3 only) and it´s ok - why change? but you can check the demo of v3!

my card is the sb0350 (A2zs), and my secondary is a SB0160 for the record, but when i use traktor wave/asio 4/5 and 6/7 are the outputs i use, and it works fine…

my card is sb0530 (A2zs) and it doesnt work.
anyway - i have formated my harddrive and install wxp and all applications new.
now i will install a2zs and kx on clean system.

i install wxp sp2, motherboarddriver, traktor3 and kx. that´s all.
same problem. only the mainout has sound. the other three - nothing.
if i use waveout in traktor is excellent sound on mainout.
if i use asio it´s ckackling like morse!? and it´s playing music is destroit.

oh you're using a laptop, iirc the a2zs notebook has issues with some of the outputs, please read the 3538j announcement thread

@SUN it requires a little bit more memory but i think its a way faster than previous traktors. i have tried it on P3 700mhz 128mb ram!!!! it works. just need some time to analyze tracks while playing. with more ram it will be perfect. also it can analyze tracks on background while you are mixing. interface improvement are a lot. and there are many filters too. T3 is a way better than T2.
