jerry424 is on a distinguished road

output even when muted

Hey all, brand new to kx driver and this forum.I installed it to get AISO support to run Guitar rig 2 and for this it works well. I have an unusual problem however. I am running my guitar thru a zoom pedal to get it up to line level and then into my SB live 5.1 through either the line in or the mic port, I've tried both. I can't get rid of the dry, unaffected signal coming through the speakers, no matter what. I can mute all the sound, swap to the rear speakers (which I don't have, only 2.1) and even clear the dsp completely and I still have output , unless I actually turn off the speakers. Now, as I understand it, clearing the DSP should wipe out all my inputs and outputs no matter what. Is there some king of hardware monitoring going on regardless of driver settings, or is my card broke? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

If a sound is playing when your clear the DSP, it will continue to play. The connections are no completely broken until the sound stops playing.

As for the issue with the dry signal being heard, disconnect the wires going from prolog to xrouting in the DSP, and make sure that the Line In slider on the AC97 page of kxmixer is muted.
