What is a2ddrivers312.exe in latest version?

I see that included in the latest vesion of KX is something called a2ddrivers312.exe, which I presume is something to do with the Auran Jet game engine. Can someone explain what this is, and what is its intended purpose. I have a railroad simulator program made by Auran and I wonder if it is relevant to that.

Im pretty sure its Aureal - Games like UT2003 will use for 3d effects.

Yup thats more correct. The A2D driver is for A3D titles on none A3D soundcards.
