SPDIF In and A2 OEM

Hey guys I can't seem to find where the SPDIF in is on this card. DO I need an external bracket to get at it? or maybe I can't use it?

It should be on the AD-EXT connector - but I think some A2 models dont have this connector..??

Search the forums for the AD-EXT connector pinouts.

Or the CD Digital IN.

Don't know which model number you are looking at, here is (untested) the pinout for an SB0220 taken from a discussion at another forum. Does your card have a group of 5 pins?

1 - SPDIF out TTL level
2 - Ground
3 - SPDIF IN
4 - Ground
5 - +5V

Pin 1 is the pin closest to the where the PCI card connects into your motherboard

No, I don't have that model with the long row of pins..mine has a long whit connector..so I am assuming that is for connecting up some type of external bracket..

I figured it out by looking through the manual. it shows an external Digital I/O module connected to the standard digital out...I mean the jack thats usually just for Digital out (SB Live)..so that connector is for pole... One pole is in one pole is output.. I guess I could use a mini to dual mini females... I waan hook my AIW to the digital in..atleast I know how to get at it now..
