kX for x-fi?

In Eugene's "project status" (dated 28 Dec '05) he says:

we will probably never support newer X-Fi or E-mu hardware

Can someone clarify that, please -- is there currently support for any x-fi cards?

NO, No support what so ever.

They use a different DSP (KX -> derived from the 10KX DSP used in the compatable cards)
10KX - being a 10K1 (SBLive/EMU APS) or 10K2 (Audigy1/2).

X-Fi is using a different DSP.
