HDCP question/discussion
From what I heard if you want to view Blu-Ray/HD-DVD video, you must have a monitor that supports HDCP. I am thinking about getting the 20.1" dell monitor everyone loves but I heard the 20.1" does not support HDCP but the 30" does. I want to build a new system this year possibly and definitely getting the card will end up having .H264 support.
is it necessary to have HDCP support if I am really looking to keep my monitor for years to come? |

yes, or you'll won't be able to watch any Blue-Ray/HD-DVD near to its capacity. It won't look much better than current generation DVDs.

But none of the "highend" video cards today do.. Most of the supported chips are intergrated as well.

Everyone else is saying it does. Just wish Dell would say that, thinking about getting one now.
