$400 Rebate on Fail-Safe VideoRaid Storage

Medea Corp., a leading storage solutions provider to the digital content creation (DCC) and Internet streaming media markets, has announced a rebate program for its VideoRaid RTR and VideoRaid RTRX disk arrays when purchased in conjunction with Pinnacle's CineWave Classic RT, RT Pro or HD editing solutions for Mac OS X Jaguar.

For a limited time, customers who purchase fail-safe VideoRaid RTR/RTRX storage with a qualifying CineWave product will receive up to $400 cash back from Medea. For more details on this rebate and to download a rebate coupon, visit:

"This incentive program offers further value to users who select a fail-safe Medea VideoRaid storage solution and a Pinnacle CineWave NLE system," stated Roger Mabon, vice president of Channel Marketing at Medea.

"VideoRaid RTR/RTRX disk arrays support all flavors of the now OS X compliant CineWave system. Furthermore, unlike unprotected JBOD storage, RTR/RTRX arrays provide peace of mind by protecting the content on the array in the event of a disk drive failure."

About VideoRaid RTR/RTRX

VideoRaid RTR/RTRX disk arrays are designed to support professional animation, compositing, special effects and non-linear video editing workstations. VideoRaid RTR/RTRX features a single or dual-channel, Ultra160 SCSI interface and field replaceable disk drive modules, power supplies and RAID controllers with Medea's proprietary Multi-Stream Technology(TM) (MST).

In addition to offering industry-leading performance, VideoRaid RTR/RTRX provides fail-safe operation. In the unlikely event of a disk drive failure, VideoRaid RTR/RTRX will continue to operate with no loss of data and at full performance. This enables work in progress to be completed without requiring immediate drive replacement.

Upon replacing a bad drive, the system will automatically rebuild and resume protecting the content stored on the array. VideoRaid RTR/RTRX supports both SD and HD applications, is scalable to multi-terabyte solutions and priced to compete with unprotected storage systems.
