NEW TOY just bought a Sony DRU500A

I just installed it and up and working with the firmware upgrade. I have not burned anything with it yet. I would like to get my 26 Gigs of Iso images on to disk and delete them off the hard drive.

Everything checks out okay under Clonecd.

Software supplied is not compatible with Nero installed.

Nero states that the drive burn at 3.1x while burning.

I am going to push my cd burners on my add in card and see if it comes into a buffer underrun.

later

No Warez here

I almost always backup my cds into iso images just in case that I would not be able to use the original cd, lose it, or whatever and I mean everything.

I also like to collect Windows OS's, I have everyone except for windows for workgroups, Windows 95a, and Windows XP home.

I am using the latest nero but it states that the drive write speed is 2.6 and 3.1 for DVD burning

Can someone tell me why that is?
