My processor overclocked itself?!?

I used to have my processor overclocked. It wasn't as stable as I wanted so I put it to the default clock speed. After a while, I have noticed that now in the System Properties it says 1.34GHz instead of 1.33GHz. WCPUID also shows that my processor is running at 1338.09MHz. My FSB started out at 133 and now it's at 133.81. This causes my processor to be overclocked.

Well, I am not sure that it is good for PCI bus... especially if you have some senstive card.

420, that isn't anything to worry about - the timing chip isn't exact, the spacing between the different "ticks" of the system clock is very constant, but the amount of "ticks" per second varies, since it would only take a little little bit of error over 133,333,333 ticks to amount to a .5mhz deviation... its not something to be worried about in any case...

Donator
At default speed my 1800xp runs at 1541mhz w/ a 133 fsb, not 1533 like it is "supposed" to- No big deal. I usually run it at 1633mhz w/ a 142mhz fsb anyway. I need to unlock it so I can run it at closer to 1.70 to 1.73ghz w/ a closer-to-stock fsb like I know it wants to be run. I need a rear-window-defrost kit and some super glue-
