ok i need some more help... lol
ok i reset the pc again and all the stuff i was missing is back. i went and bought a new sound card.... well guess what?!?!?! still no darn mic i am so ready to pull my hair out. i talked to someone today and they said if it wont work with a new soundcard, theres no point in wasting my moolah on a usb headset. they want $100.00 just to look at it so i am wondering seriously how much they will charge me to fix it....

Omg!!!
ok first lemme tell ya.... i fixed the problem and am rather embarrassed!! my headset worked on another pc, but not mine... i took it back to best buy (its under warranty) and they tried it on their pc and it didnt work!! so 1/2 of my problem is that it didnt work!! but the other half was that i was missing stuff under the speech in the control panel! well all is worked out and thank you so much for those that helped in the other post i made...
