NVIDIA to drop GeForce FX??

Read it here I am not sure about this, what do you think? Is NVIDIA running scared or just trying to keep up now? Is this story even close to being true?

...it's both new and old news. It's old that they're dropping it (according to rumors...no confirmation), but tenndevil is also correct about his story being new. The old article said they'd produce 100,000 FXs then stop, this one now says they're only gonna make 10,000 of them.
