Hmmm... it would be hard to utilize the art of one handed typing, that many users have developed

What a waste. ****. Has anyone ever seen a DVORAK keyboard? Those are just weird.

I agree, it would take quite some time to get used to one of these.
EDIT: You're right, that is weird.

It makes more sense though - the keys you use the most would be right underneath you fingers instead of scattered all over the place... I heard somewhere that for every amount of typing that make you move your hands a total of five miles over the keyboard on a qwerty, you only go about a mile on the dvorak since your fingers are already at the most used keys..

The DVORAK keyboard increases typing speed by something like 30%. People never used it 'cuz QWERTY is the mainstreem.

True, I read that it's so much easier to use. But can you imagine how hard it would be to master as well as you have mastered the QWERTY? ****.... That would take MONTHS. At least I think it would for me....as long as I couldn't use a QWERTY keyboard.

That would suck getting used to all over again. And, it's not a good thing because all the other keyboards everywhere have the QWERTY layout and if you got used to this one, you would have a hard time using public computers and stuff.

I've been using qwerty since I was 2 year old - I couldn't change if I wanted to

30% faster
With my 2-finger typing, I think it'd be the same

I tried to learn DVORAK before. It makes a lot of sense, but it's too hard to get used to. It's like Linux. A lot of things make sense, but you just can't get used to it.

Freedom is a feature.

Still, this thing isn't worth 1300$.

You use your left hand for your mouse? I'm a southpaw too, but I gave in to the right-handed conspiracy
All of the good ergonomic mice (with the exception of the boomslangs) are extremely right-handed-only, so I've just used my right hand... then again, I'm a mite ambidextrous, I can write with both hands (but its hard if I don't write in reverse with my right hand...)...

If it was telepathic, I'd say ok.... but I think this keyboard would be bad for gameplay, no?
