Digital Camera and Mapped Drives

I have a digital camera and I want it to open on my other pc, but I have the mapped drives like this ... http://home.elp.rr.com/prymo/mapped.jpg ... anyways, when I used to turn on my digital camera the XP removeable storage thing comes up and and it used to put it as drive F: when the CD was E:. But now when I turn it on it doesn't even come up, tried disconnecting all mapped drives and trying it then, and it comes up, so I'm guessing it's probably a conflict with the letter of the mapped drives and the one that the removeable storage tries to be. So does anyone know how to get Removeable Storage to come up as the next drive letter, in this case K:? TIA

i had the same troubles awhile back...make sure your usb drivers are properly installed, can you test with another device? are you using batteries for the cam or a/c adapter...uploads from the device to your box will burn through batteries real quick....one more thing, my camera had two transfer modes, 1 for uploading stored files and the other for capturing a live video stream...each one required a specific driver.

I don't have any other devices, and I tried re-installing the usb drivers, that was the first thing I tried, and I'm using an a/c adapter, the camera burns through batteries like richard simmons burns through calories
