Sound Blaster Live 24bit

I hoping someone can help me or at least steer me in the righ direction. I'm wanting to hook the front audio and mic ports on my case to this sound card. I have no clue where to begin, if its' even possible. I've been reading about pinout diagrams. Another thing, how do i get the connecter off the wires that plug into the mother board, if thats what I have to do. HELP!!!! I'M A NEWBIE!!!!!!!!!

I think you have to plug them into the sound card.

Are the connectors for the front of the case the same kind as headphones (1/8" jack) or are they pins like a USB panel connector?

they are pins, like a USB connector. The dont match the plugins on the soundcard.
