Dell 3007FPW (WFP?) Price dropped!
The dell Super HD 2560x1600 Resolution 30" Widescreen LCD (16:10) monitor has recently had a drop in price.

Don't bother with going through email interactions with dell, you won't get anywhere with bargaining for a lower price.

Before in Canada, Dell's offered price was 2199.99 and in the states that price was higher yet (why i haven't a clue) of 2299.99.

Recently it has been dropped to a $1950 for as far as dell's site is concerned, both US/Canada.

However over the phone bargaining can further reduce the price another 100 bucks. (give or take)..

So far the best deal i got was 1755.00 Canadian. I'm debating on taking it or not.

Course remember taxes, so you still getting a good chunk of change off if you in the market for one of the best. BEST LCD Monitors you can possible get. (they are as far as i can gather, all the newest revisions, so most if not all plausible defects/unbalanced backlighting issues are gone).

what you are buying is NOT the size of the monitor, it's the RESOLUTION in which is able to obtain and excellent responce rates it has.

sure 30" is great and all, but there is no way in hell you can compare a 37" LCD @ 1366x768 (1 million pixels of definition similare to that of a widescreen resolution of 1280x800) vs a 30" lcd @ 2560x1600 (4million pixels of definition in which nothing can even remotely come close to)

the only fair warning i have is, make damn sure you've got a DVI-D compliant video card or you'll be stuck with a 30" @ 1280x800 resolution.

Also that this monitor is made for super high end graphics cards, mostly in crossfire/sli due to the massive amount of graphics powered required to drive a 2560x1600 resolution at 60fps+

They are selling, dell's moving them at a reasonable pace.
