What is your budget? For a little more money you can get a really nice supply.

it seems to me that both PSUs are ATX12V version 2.0 compliances...
but since you are going to buy a new PSU, try checking for ones that have ATX12V 2.2 compliances. i can't tell you the difference between the ATX12V 2.0/2.01 and 2.2, but the PSU that has ATX12V 2.2 is the PSU that meet the latest PSU design guide. note-- ATX2.2 (12V), 12V ATX2.2, ATX 2.2 or 2.2 is not the same as ATX12V version 2.2 (or sometimes seen as ATX12V V2.2 or ATX 12V Ver 2.2) ATX 2.2 is system design guide. ATX12V 2.2 is PSU design guide. Last edited by PangingJr; Aug 19, 2006 at 09:33 AM. |

yeah i was thinking about going all out and getting one of these :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817128001 but ive never bought a Psu before the ones im using now came with my cases. so a $100 is a lot for something that i have gotten for free. Although it is probably a lot better in the long run.

because the site has not listed the PSU as a ATX12V 2.2 compliances, but Full ATX 2.2 compliance (and Supports ATX up to v2.2).
this might be a nonsense to you, no? |
