suggestion dvd-drive

since my dvd-drive is broken due to starforce, i want to replace it. But i have no idea what i need to look for in a drive. I want to be able to burn the things fast, and just a good working overall thing. But nothing too fancy or the latest thing in technology...
anyone has ideas?

Looks good but the LG drives these days can be had really cheap and I like mine. Just a warning for LG drives though: Avoid Memosux media at ALL COSTS

Lite-On or NEC are good inexpensive drives - check 'retail' vs. 'OEM' in for the software bundle (which is generally tied to just that drive) if you need burning and/or DVD Playback software - the NEC's lately haven't come with any in the OEM version.
