EEK! Another day, another nVidia bomb: MSI dropping nVidia in favor of ATI

Ok, this is NOT good! I love ATI lately to death, but I do NOT want a one-company video card market! WAKE UP NVIDIA!!!!!

It seems that MSI is switching over from making nVidia cards to making ATI cards, but that ain't the big thing. According to this post over on nVnews this story broke THRU WALL STREET!

Wall Street knows, they now officially know just how badly nVidia is f*cking up lately and I think MSI is only the first in a long line of companies that are going to be waking up and smelling the coffee and switching over to ATI also.

Hey, which card would you rather be selling right now? Or for the rest of the year for that matter?

<sigh>

It never rains but it pours, and nVidia has just officially gotten the illusion of market strength ripped from 'em. What's next?

If you look at the last 5 years, they started out ok, then they got better, and now they're pretty much where they started.

Well I for one am excited about MSI building ATI cards. For one thing MSI made some of the best viddy cards out there. Hopefully these new cards from MSI will just as successful. However, I still am with DIG about ATI corning the market. When your someone that likes both companies it does make you a bit uneasy.

True true very true, but i think Nvidia will come out of this, hard to keep them down. Just like football cant always have the same teem win the greycup every
year.... Nvidia will bounce back, i hope

Very well said
Although this isn't the first time we have agreed on something is it Necrosis??
And I agree with DIG as I so often do!!

I am a fan of both, and DON'T wish to see any cornering of the markets.
Would result in another "Mr. Burns" Scenario

Lets hope Nvidia releases their new card soon, I wish to avoid another VooDoo situation. Still good cards for there time and scope.
But no support left(unless you look really HARD)

Lets hope it doesn't come to that
