Intel CPU uCode loading error
Hi everyone!
Newbie needs help. What's new eh? I have an ASUS mobo P5S800-VM which I have just fitted the Intel Pentium chip into. The CPU is Intel Pentium 4 Processor 541+. 3.20 Ghz, 800 mhz FSB, 1 mb L2 Cache. I have downloaded the ASUS update utility program, but whilst going through it, it asks me to select a BIOS logo? Where do I find it and how do I ensure it matches the original? Please help, it's been a long day! Alex |

the Intel uCode loding error is usually indicates that the motherboard's BIOS requires an update to support the newer CPU correctly.
try flashing the BIOS with an updated BIOS file from your motherboard maker's website. |

its asking for a bios logo? If so it's just the picture that the computer shuts during POST. If its enabled. You can change it to whatever picture you want I do believe, just needs to be the right size. Although I've never done it, you should be able to skip that page if you want to keep the image the same as default.
