where is the info on the windows xp2 sp2 leak?

i read over on another site about the "early" release of windows xp sp2
have any of you seen it?

yes there was a private link posted, but IMO is not worth anything and I sincerely doubt its validity. you could go into winbeta IRC and ask in there for info.

I agree.
Lets not start this SPx BETA madness of last fall, unless there is a creditable link.

It over-extends the servers here on DH as it did then

My SP1 from a valid link, is still working fine on my second profile.
I reserve profile 1 for testing betas.

I've seen nothing on SP2 creditable enough to try yet

Why? What's the rush to install an SP? Might fix a couple of bugs but unless you're dead in the water because of some compatibility issue I wouldn't be so hell bent on getting a "leaked" pre-release.

I'm still on SP2 for Win2k. I've found no compelling reason to even go to SP3.
