shattered is on a distinguished road

Info on various parts

If this is located in the wrong forum accept my apology.

First, does anyone have a clue as to if the DX10 Nvidia cards will support HDR, anti-aliasing, and antisotropic filtering simultaneously?

Second, is there any word (reliable or not) on the web as to when the nforce 590 motherboards by Asus or any other reputable brands are going to start hitting the shelves?

Third, I read in a previous post on here that the DX10 cards won't ship until after Vista is released which probably won't be till around February. Elsewhere I have read that the DX10 cards should be released around December. Many would say it is irrelevant as to when they come out since DX10 cards can't be fully used until Vista. This is true in a way, but I am building my new computer as soon as the nforce 590 hits shelves, therefore I don't want to buy a DX9 card and then turn around to buy a DX10 card 4 months later.

Fourth, should I wait for the quad core Conroes to hit shelves in Q1 or just get a dual core? It seems that most games won't be utilizing quad core for a while plus it could be forever until quads Conroes are released...

P.S. I 90% gamer, 10% other stuff.

System Specs

I currently see DFI, Asus, EVGA and Gigabyte nfore 590 boards in stock at my favorite Canadian retailer, they should be available in the states as well.

Can't help you with DX10 cards, I only concern myself with released hardware.

H3X4D3C1M4L will become famous soon enoughH3X4D3C1M4L will become famous soon enough

It is supposable that the SM4 cards will support that since some SM3 cards do... but why bother waiting for DX10 cards, the first revisions are going to be hot power sucking beasts
