Locked ibm r52 with bios password...

Hi, i have forgot my bios password for my ibm r52. Is there any way to reset it or do I have to send it to IBM.

From the Hardware Maintenance Manual for your R52 (actually called the Supervisor password):

Attention:

If the SVP has been forgotten and cannot be made available to the servicer, there is no service procedure to reset the password. The system board must be replaced for a scheduled fee.

Sorry, you could try undoing the backup battery for several hours, but I doubt that would help...
