MSI TV @nywhere or ATI TV TUNER

Read 1 review for each TV Tuner, and I'm leaning towards the MSI one. It's cheaper, easier to install apparently, supports beyond MPEG -2 motion capture, COMES WITH A REMOTE.

Even though the remote is ugly...STILL A REAL REMOTE! Unless this baby is fatally flawed I'm getting it!

I'm planning to use a splitter to split the cable going into my modem into 2 so I can use the TV tuner and have cable modem working as well. Is there anything wrong with that? Tips? Suggestions? All are welcome.

Nothing wrong with that, it's what I've done

Does the MSI come with a TV program guide / recording scheduler?

The MSI tv@nywhere uses a chip-based digital tuner, which (in the case of the ATI 8500DV card) runs very warm. Two alternative cards which use cooler running analog tuners, are the Leadtek and the Asus. Both can be examined for features, appearance, extras, etc. at: newegg.com.
