Detect Memory Voltage?
Well, I cant find it in the BIOS, so is there a way to detect memory voltage in windows? My RAM is running below its speed because of this i think. It is suposed to be Cas-4 but in CPU-z it is Cas-5. This is DDR2-667. Also, it is shown as PC2-5300 in CPU-z and it is actually PC2-5400.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820141211 People are talking about the voltages, so thats how i figure i need to up it a little to get its rated voltage/speed.

acording to specifications of the memory module at newegg (from link you posted above), and if the information at the newegg is correct, the memory modules needs 2.0Volts. your motherboard may default to only 1.8. so i suggest you check the memory modules specifications again, may be at the manufacture's website. and also recheck you motherboard and its BIOS's manual for the DRAM voltage option and settings.
then try readjusting the DRAM voltage in your motherboard's BIOS setting... and then at everytime you need to load BIOS default setting like you'll need to do it after the BIOS has just been updated, be sure to readjust the DRAM voltage again after. |

i think it's in advanced chipset features in BIOS. set the ram settings from spd to manual and set latency to how you want it. cpu-z should give you a table for this.
