Well pushing over a TB of HD drive space and some other rediculious specs, either i'll be in the OTHER catagories or they'll have me listed...

currently working on a Raid 0 Sata 2 16mb Cache 320gb drive array x 6 (almost 2Tb of space, movie ripping time) I'm more interested in the overall speed and throughput then space... dammit why doesn't WD or whoever make some low cost, HIGH performance small GB drives. Like 50gb 10k rpm 16mb cache drives.

that's the thing, i'm not storing anything..

All i'm interested in is high read/write. 320gb is the smaller 16mb cache sata 2 drive i can get.

i've got atm, 640gb of space, you know how much i'm using right now?

60gb

That's with windows xp/x64/vista/vistax64, all my programs i need loaded, and a few games. and a dozen or so important files....

My music collection is well over 120GB by now.

I sit on a 'mere' 600GB on this machine but the rest of my house supplements that to about 1.5TB
