Component-DVI adapter for HDPC moniters

k, ive been wanting to get a xbox 360 (no, not a wii or PS3) so i can play halo2, halo3, COD3, ect, ect, but there is no way im paying for an HDTV. but i am getting a samsung syncmaster 225BW (or mebbe another 21-24 inch windescreen LCD, its not set in stone) and i was wondering if there is any way of running a component cable from the 360, to the DVI input on my moniter. or if anyone knows a good moniter with component inputs that would be great too.

hmm... that cable any good? i meen, its analog so... hows the quality compared to HD?

EDIT: just realized that HDTV's are basically computer moniters (pixaliated) so, even though its not HD there shouldnt be much of a differance should there?

ive been reading about it and so far if your using a pc monitor for your 360 go with the vga cable if your using a tv go with component/HDMI. Page two of the review talks about image quality

lol did some research while i was waiting for a reply, turns out that that analog adapter DOES carry an HD signal, and that DVI would only make sence if you were going to game at a resolution of like 4000 by 6000

anyways, thank you. your help has been appriciated
