X1950TXT + Dell LCDs flashing problem
I have a Dell 2407WFP hooked to my X1950XTX via DVI as primary and a 1907FP again via DVI as secondary. Every 10-15 minutes or so the monitors flash, not at the same time though. It's like the screen gets corrupt and then comes back to normal, all in the blink of an eye.
Anyone ever experince this? I tried the 2 dvi settings in CCC, that didn't help. It happens while in desktop and in games too, so it's not a 2D, 3D thing.

This occasionally happens, perhaps ONCE every 3 days or so that i've been at the computer..
But i always thought it was just due to the Crossfire cable or a quirk of 2560x1600 resolutions.

hmmm...
It occasionally happens... ever since you got your 3007?
I'll try disabling the 2nd monitor, run only 1 dvi cable...

well i only noticed a quick little blurp on the Acer AL1951's but it was more rare...... still thinking it's dvi/video card related though...

So it's not a Dell thing... if you experienced it on other models, if of course we really are talking about the same thing. I doubt both my monitors are faulty and i see no mention of similar issues on Dell's forums.
Have you tried better cables, like some high-performance Monster or Acoustic Research...? Not only for this problem, but IQ wise also.

No i haven't.. but i've got some damn thick and heavily shielded cables that i've used... it just seems to be a ATI glitch.... but it's so rare and quick, it's hard to even notice.
The portions or the entire screen will just go kinda scewed, greys and colors of all sorts and lines on different angles for about 1/4 second at most.... It's usually similare to when you first fire up the machine and when the ATI CCC finally kicks in and locks up windows for a split second while it reloads the drivers or something. The screen does the same thing.

You're convinced it's ATI...? I will try just 1 monitor, better cables and when 6.12s are released install the control panel only. It's not that bad because it happens in like 1/60 of a second, but since i logged in to the forums, i've been reading for maybe 1/2 an hour, i've had 3 flashes.
It's annoying when you are staring at a static page, like when web surfing, and then flash! 8 minutes later... flash! And again... flash! I'll keep investigating...

well 3 flashes is a bit excessive..
but i do think it's related to ati atm.. (i've yet to experience this on nvidia)..... But one thing i figured that might be causing it is ASUS's PEG LINK switch in the bios (it's on for me). I tried disabling it and i've yet to experience a flash. But 3 flashes in a half hour.. that's a bit excessive.
