Well, guys. I won it on eBay, I'm yet to pay the seller because I'm waiting for the money to be transfered from my bank account to my PayPal account. That'll probally take 3 days from today, then I will pay the seller, and it should be shipped the next day via FedEx ground. So probally another week.

The Quadro FX 2000 retails for around $1,899, and that's cheap! Other places sell them for well over 2 grand.

Well I'm having some problems installing the card. I keep getting an error message saying something like; hardware or network failure data could not be saved. I get like 20+ of these messages, one for seemingly every program installed on my computer, i.e. PaintShop Pro, Motherboard Monitor, Norton SystemWorks, etc, etc, etc. I didn't do a complete format (I know that I probaly will have to), I just uninstalled my old nV drivers, restarted, ran DriverCleaner and install the Cat. 3.2's (or whatever version is latest, I forget). Note, I ge these messages as soons as Windows boots, not when I run the specific program. Also the problem goes away when I put my 4200 back in.
So what ya guys think, reformat only fix? |
