Words of Wisdom.....
For anyone thinking about installing 2 8800GTX's.You will need a 1KW QUAD power supply to run them.......I have a 1kw PC Power & Cooling PS but only have 2 power cables.The 8800GTX takes 2 power cables per card.But PC Power & Cooling was nice enough to convert it for free.....Good people!

Rig specs to the left in the boxes....X-Box 360 w/Hitachi 42" HDTV....If Darwins theory of evolution is true then why are monkeys still monkeys?It takes much more faith to believe in Darwin's theory over the Genesis account of creation.

Actually even a 750W power supply would do.But the problem is that not all power supplies have 4 pci-e connectors.
So u are forced to buy a 1kw power supply.Since only most PSU's above 850W have 4 pci-e connectors.Sad but true.

Even still you could rig a splitter I'd imagine, with the proper plugs and all

It did come with splitter plugs.But I just wanna do it the correct way.

It only draws essentially 1 amp off the other plug, 75 from the PCI-e slot, 75 from 1 plug (max for the spec) then it only needs 15 more watts from the other

That is correct. Thermal Take has a 750w PSU out (i forget the model tho) that is on NVIDIA's SLI Zone web page as a "quad SLI certified PSU".

Isn't the Galaxy 850W quad SLI certified? If not it should be
