Feeding Frenzy

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Well sort of after the fact I know, but I would appreciate your esteemed thoughts and opinions on my panic shopping spree.

So far I have ordered the following,

OCZ 700W GameXStream Power Supply w/ Quad +12V
and,

I will be waiting some time for these parts because the RAM has to be ordered in and this leads me to a second question. What to do about a graphics card, wait for ATi to put out a DX10 card and hope for a price drop on the 8800's or shell out for one now? If the answer is to buy one now which manufacturer and model would you choose?

If you can afford it shell out now for an 8800GTS... manufacturer doesn't matter, eVGA or XFX etc. whatever works

Thanks H3X! Your reasoning being to go low end to tide me over until the next gen DX10 cards come out makes sense really! Could then use the other card in a lesser build down the road or as a back up card.
