Need some help with my new computer!

Hey guys, im about to buy a new computer but i wanna make sure games such as medieval total war 2, act of war, far cry, fear, etc. can be played on the highest graphics setup. I came up with this:

Asus P5B Deluxe
Intel C2D E6600 2.4 64 Bits 4MB
GeForce 8800GTS 640MB PCI Express
2x DDR 2 1GB 667MHZ Kingston
HDD 250GB SATA II

do u think that will do it?

That should be more than enough to play the games you've mentioned.

I havent mentioned duke nukem 3d though lol

oh btw if i wanna upgrade ram later will that mobo support 800 mhz ram?

Yep it supports it, and more if you plan to overclock.

duke nukem 3d? wowsa.....

duke nukem forever is due to be released using the unreal 3 engine.. so the system should do dandy

sweet. the only thing i want is to play any game i want for the next two years at high graphics setup, i know i will have to upgrade later on as new graphics demanding games come up.

I don't know for 2 years but you should be ok for 1 year.

The absolute only thing I personally would suggest changing is your choice of RAM. I've had too many problems with Kingston over the years. So, I'd recommend you consider either Corsair or OCZ brand for your RAM. Otherwise, that's an awesome system setup!

Have fun...and remember to come up for air every now and again.

yea maybe 2 years is too much but like i said before i will have to upgrade some hardware as time goes on. oh and thanx for the ram advice.
