Totally new system

OK in the next few months I'm really looking forward to get a new rig. But I'm so messed up..... The problem: I don't know what to choose.

E6600 vs. E6700 ?
8800GTS vs. GTX vs. High-end DX9 card ?
SLI mobo or not....?
Corsair vs. OCZ vs. evertyhting else...?
Which PSU to choose?
Which case..?
etc....

I really want a system that will last me some years, and I want to be able to play games like: FSX, ET:QW, BF2, BF2142, etc.... So, can anybody here help me?

wait for DAAMIT's directx 10 video card so the prices will drop and for the cpu i'd think something like a quad-core would be the best if the price drops. SLI would be a great idea if you don't want to ave a good quality/price ratio. I haven't looked for a while to see the difference betweem a single card and two card but last time I checked, adding a card was adding something like 50%-60% FPS at max. That's all I can help you about.

Don't buy a DX9 card for a new system unless you know you are not going to use Vista in the next year or 2.
I always thought that SLI mode (and crossfire) was a waste of money.
If you are going to upgrade in a year or a bit more, get the GTS.
If you want to use SLI, get 800W, else a 550-600 will do i think.
Case and powersupply I have and use products from Thermaltake and I am very satisfied with them.

If you wait a few months, then wait to see the new dx10 cards from ATI. Else, get dx10 from nvidia.
